Senior Driver Assessment Program
Mobility is one of the most valuable assets aging seniors possess…it represents continued independence and a rich quality of life. However, aging brings changes that can make it dangerous for seniors to continue driving. Critical abilities such as vision, physical health, reaction times and even memory decline over time. Because that timeline and process is different for everyone, Parents Are Key senior driving skills assessment helps senior drivers and families assess the right time and approach to make the transition from driver to passenger as seamless as possible.
- Self Assessment
- Law Enforcement
- Physicians and Hospitals
- Group Presentations
Parents Are Key is dedicated ourselves to three primary functions for driving retirement, providing:
Relief to families facing the challenging issue of a loved-one’s diminished driving skills due to the natural aging process
Assistance and support to older drivers as they face the emotional issue of a driving retirement
Educational programs for professionals confronted with this issue in a professional setting.
Our self assessment program is designed to help older drivers determine if it’s time to make a smooth transition from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat while preserving their dignity, personal pride and independence. Bill Collins and Eileen Dunn are the only “Beyond Driving with Dignity” driving retirement professionals from the Capital District to the Canadian Border.
